"Andrew Dawson was employed by Prof Harris + Dr H Harris as project manager on an extensive rebuild refurbishment at Robin Howe between September 2006 and May 2007. During this time he was on site every day with direct responsibility for a team of bricklayers, plasterers, roofers, electricians, plumbers and joiners. He liased directly with the architect on an occasional basis, and with myself each day during the build. This was a complex project requiring 3 storey extensions on either side of the original house and total reconstruction of the rood space to provide accessible living accommodation. As there needed to be provision for disability he was central to the planning and installation of a 5 person lift in the property. Because of the narrow plot it was either side and to access their properties. This was always done in a very cheerful and sensitive way and our neighbours were very complimentary about Andrew. He was meticulous in record keeping and kept costings within budget. We had a particular time constraints as our purchasers delayed 6 months in order for us to complete the build, to be able to move directly into Robin Howe avoiding a tempory rental period. As building continued during a very wet and windy winter it is greatly to Andrew’s credit that is was achieved. We have now lived in Robin Howe for 18mths and have no hesitation in recommending Andrew Dawson as a project manager who would when occasion demanded roll his sleeves up and demonstrate his own building skills."

"Mr Dawson worked with us as a site agent at lcknield Infant & Nursery during the planning and erection of our Children’s Centre.  He is a very professional person who has shown that he can communicate positively at all levels within a very pressured working environment. From the onset of the project Mr Dawson was a very positive in his dealings with us.  He kept us fully informed of all events and the progress of the project.  He became part of our school and is missed very much by staff and children. He was extremely personable and made everyone in our school feel that the erection of our Children’s Centre building was his most important job.  He was meticulous and worked to a very high standard and expected the people working with him to execute the same high standards.

Mr Dawson ensured that everyone in our school was kept 100% safe during the building works, he involved the whole school in the project and stimulated interest amongst all of our children including our 3 year olds!

Any arising issues were dealt with professionally and sensitively by Mr Dawson.  He liaised with all contractors on site and ensured that our school could still run smoothly during the school day and that no school events were disrupted/affected by the building work.
From my experience of working with Mr Dawson I would say that he is an extremely hard working person who carries out his role to a very high standard in a positive and professional manner.
